The pendant ball encrusted cornice above a shell centered frieze between rosette blocks and a later divided rectangular plate between rosette embossed turned half columns

Lot Essay
The shell motif centering the frieze on this mirror is closely related to an Irish William IV overmantle mirror, sold anonymously, Christie's London, 29 November 2001, lot 32 (£8,225).
