The front with a large coat-of-arms shown against gilt, sepia and iron-red scrollwork and ermine mantling and beneath a coronet, the sides with clusters of musical instruments, sceptres, fans, pine, prunus and bamboo in verte enamels, a smaller cluster on the cover, all between iron-red and gilt cell diaper borders, metal rim and handle mount
