A FLEMISH ROSEWOOD, OLIVEWOOD, EBONY AND IVORY CABINET ON STAND, THE CABINET LATE 17TH CENTURY
Featherbanded with ebony and ivory, the front opening with twelve drawers simulated as fourteen drawers and two central arcaded drawers, inlaid with stylised and lobed motifs against an oyster veneered background and moulded borders, the two central doors concealing an interior fitted with nine further variously sized drawers with ripple moulding and simulated frieze drawers on baluster turned supports joined by a box stretcher, two drawer fronts possibly reveneered, the stand possibly incorporating earlier elements
