of rectangular shape, inlaid in mother-of-pearl with a lady at a table with a teapot and fruit beside leafy branches -- 4 7/8in. (12.4cm.) wide; a cylindrical bamboo brushpot carved with figures in boats and pavilions amongst pine trees and rockwork -- 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high; a Canton enamel circular dish painted with boys at leisure -- 4in. (10.1cm.) diam.; three Japanese red lacquer shallow bowls, two decorated with birds amongst trees, the other with central flower bloom signature to base -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) max. diam.; and a simulated ivory figure of a man holding a small toad and a basket, painted robes -- 5in. (12.7cm.) high.
