A Kakiemon style blue and white bowl
Edo Period (late 17th century)
with chocolate rim, painted with coats of arms and coronets flanked by large leaves on a ground of lotus sprays and entwined foliage, the exterior with a slender scrolling foliate band -- 6½in. (16.5cms) diam, Fuku mark to base, (couple of minute rim nibbles).
