with a hinged lid and front profusely carved with a stylised fruiting vine and centred with a punch marked lunette with a bird above, the sides simply incised with a lozenge with the initial M to the left and I to the right -- 23in. (59cm.) wide, 10in. (25cm.) high, 13in. (34cm.) deep
