A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL PARCEL-GILT SILVER SALT CELLARS,
19th Century,
In the Renaissance style, each shaped square, raised on four openwork winged masks, the sides cast with classical figures within scrolls, swags and strapwork, the top with four circular depressions enclosed by animal heads, masks and figures amid acanthus scrolls, all on a matted ground; together with a novelty snuff box formed from an armadillo's tail.
