A Chinese inside painted crystal snuff bottle
19/20th Century
of rounded ovoid shape, painted with figures in a terrace scene beside a boatman standing on his boat, the side with striated hairwork, rose quartz stopper -- 3in. (7.6cm.) high; another crystal bottle of flattened square shape painted with seven sages in a bamboo grove to one side, the reverse with a winter scene of a donkey with figures -- 2½in. (6.4cm.) high; and another crystal bottle of flattened spade shape painted with numerous boys playing in garden scenes -- 2 3/8in. (6.2cm.) high, all three bottles signed Yeh Chung San, (natural flaws).
