Wicksteed, 1730. 2 volumes bound in one, 4° (241 x 195mm). 42 engraved plates, 3 folding, wood-engraved illustrations, one full-page (one folding plate repaired with very slight loss, occasional light spotting and staining). Later library half cloth gilt (scratch mark to upper cover, very lightly rubbed). Provenance: John Acklom (early signature on title); armorial bookplate on rear pastedown with motto "Avancez"; early annotation; 4-pages of early autograph notes inserted or laid down at the end.
