Level: very top shoulder; slightly soiled label otherwise excellent
Latour made superlative wines in both the 1928 and 1929 vintages (unlike Lafite and Haut-Brion), the '29 being endowed with great richness and depth, velvety sweetness and great length. Top marks - a perfect drink when last noted in September 1995. MB
