I love this Domaine's wines, and order them whenever I see them and can afford to! The family has been growing vines, or making wine, in Puligny-Montrachet since 1632 - so it is believed. They are masterful in their wine-making skills. They never skew the purity of Chardonnay fruit, allied with the character of the individual hillsides, by excessive reliance on technology, cultured yeasts, or intrusive, new oak flavours. These wines are harmonious, subtle, richly textured and always delicate. AH
