A French ormolu-mounted and white marble striking mantel clock and garniture
Late 19th Century
The circular white-enamelled Roman and Arabic dial signed RAINGO FRES/PARIS, within a drumcase containing the movement with Brocot pendulum and outside countwheel strike on bell, surmounted by an armorial trophee, above fluted pilasters flanked by floral cornuccopia to each side, above a panelled plinth and on reeded block feet - 65.5cm. high x 51cm. wide x 18.5cm. deep; The garniture with eight scrolling branches with floral drip-pans and circular nozzles, above a vase hung with floral garlands, on a shaped rectangular plinth and reeded block feet - 78.5cm. high (3)
