The serpentine top centred by a brown leather writing-surface, within an egg and dart frame, flanked to each corner by a foliate cartouche, above one drawer and one simulated drawer to the front and back, each drawer decorated with scrolling foliage and centred by a grotesque mask, the sides each similarly decorated, on four cabriole legs, each headed by an espagnolette, on foliate sabots
