The semi-eggshell porcelain finely and delicately enamelled and gilt with a lady and a young boy watching a hare at their feet in an interior with bamboo furniture, all in a hexafoil-shaped panel reserved on a grisaille cell-pattern ground with two long-tailed birds, peony, chrysanthemum and smaller flowers, the border with a continuous band of scrolling flowering foliage and a pale greenish-yellow diaper band at the rim
