A FAMILLE ROSE MARRIAGE PLATE
Circa 1760
The centre with two sets of elaborate iron-red cyphers heightened in gilt, below a coronet being supported by two European winged figures enamelled in the famille rose palette, a band of gilt spearheads in the well and the border with grisaille and gilt Du Paquier style strapwork, underside chips
9 in. (23 cm.) diam.
