2½ in. (64 mm.) diam., set on the cover of a tortoiseshell-lined engine-turned mauve composition bonbonnière with beaded gold mounts by Pierre-Charles Mané (fl. 1777-1793), marked, Paris, 1780/1781, with the first charge and discharge marks of Henri Clavel 1780-1782
