A GERMAN GOLD-MOUNTED PORCELAIN DOUBLE SNUFF-BOX
Meissen, circa 1750
Barrel-shaped upright box with hinged lids on both ends, moulded with basket-work and painted with scattered flower-sprays, the interior of both covers with gallants and companions before arbours in idyllic river landscapes, the reeded gold mounts with scrolling foliate thumbpieces
