by Louis Roucel (fl. 1763-1787), marked, Paris, 1769/1770, with the charge marks of Julien Alaterre 1768-1774, later struck with two French post-1893 import marks for gold
Pierced gold shuttle, both sides with star-shaped branches engraved with flutes and enamelled with pink and blue flowerheads, the borders enamelled in translucent green with leaves alternating with ribbon-twist motifs
