Philip VI, Double d'or, 6.78g., first issue (6 April 1340), the crowned King seated facing on a high-backed Gothic throne, holding two sceptres, rev. floriate cross within angled quadrilobe, crowns within angles, flowers in angles (Ci.273; Dup.253; F.267), creased, since straightened, a few small spade marks, otherwise nearly very fine, rare
