Of compressed apple shape, the black stone with an attractive irregular pattern of outlined mottled green inclusions, the inscribed gold spoon with a white jade top carved as a mallow blossom

Lot Essay

The spoon is stamped Zai Qiu Tian Bao, which may be translated 'Precious Treasure of High Official Qiu.'
