A VERY RARE AND FINELY CARVED CAMEO AGATE BOTTLE
Official School, 1760-1830
Of rounded-rectangular shape, one side carved ingeniously through the dark markings as a sage seated by a fire, a brazier sending smoke rising towards five auspicious bats swooping across the sky towards an amber-brown setting sun, the reverse with a striking crystalline marking, centered with a creamy-brown inclusion carved in relief as a crouching boy holding a fish, stopper
