Two George II silver table-candlesticks
One, mark of John Cafe, London 1749, the other, mark of William Grundy, London, 1751
Each on shaped triangular base cast and chased with asymmetrical cartouches, flowers and scrolls and engraved with a similar crest, the demi-female figure stem supporting the socket and similarly chased detachable nozzle, the bases engraved No 2 and with scratchweight 29:13 and No 4 with scratchweight 30 7, marked beneath bases and on nozzles, one also marked on socket
