Oblong with curved corners, the hinged cover with reeded rim engraved with a woman holding a basket, a dog at her feet, a fisherman beside a river with a townscape in the background, the base engraved with gardening trophy and foliage festoons within an engraved border, the interior engraved with the initials J.S.M, marked on rim
