Mark of Andries Graves Kooiman, Schoonhoven, 1786, also struck with later Dutch duty marks
Rectangular, the cover engraved with the mythological scene of Aeneas being guided by Fortune and Venus' attendants to Dido, Queen of Carthage, within scroll and foliage surround and outer bright-cut waved border, the sides with similar bright-cut bands, marked on rim
13.5 cm. (5¼ in.) long
