The same composition was used around 1660 by the Nijmegen silversmith Jan Hermansz Grameij on the cover of a pyx. Presumably Grameij used, as his source, either this plaque or, more likely, a drawing by Paul van Vianen. The building in the background on the right appears also on a plaquette with the depiction of Minerva and the Muses which Paul made in 1604. It is the church of Sts. Cosmas and Damian at the Via Sacra in Rome. The print source for the depiction of the church has been identified as Vestigi dell' Antichit' di Roma by Stefano du Pirac, published in 1575 (see J.R. ter Molen, op. cit.)
