A nobleman, possibly a Margrave of Ansbach, facing left in purple coat with gold-brocade border, gold and white waistcoat and lace cravat, wearing the red moiré sash and breast star of an order and, around his neck, the Order of Fidelity of Baden, powdered wig en queue
