In the Sheraton style, the arched hipped top with floral decoration and a tulipwood crossbanded fall, painted with an oval medallion depicting a girl and a seated lady, enclosing a fitted interior with drawers and divisions for stationery, with a baize lined writing surface, the reverse inset with a glazed embroidered 18th century panel depicting The Flight From Egypt, on dual end supports joined by a stretcher, with a grisaille putti oval medallion and flowers
