The oval plate within husk border and outer mirrored slips beneath another mirrored cartouche, the frame carved overall with scrolling acanthus, flowering vines and rockwork, re-gilt, the border plates largely original, the oval plate with bevelled upper and lower borders and probably reused from an earlier plate
