A GEORGE II GOLD-MOUNTED HARDSTONE AIDE-MEMOIRE AND SCENT FLASK**
Circa 1750
Formed as a violin, the striated agate panels applied with chased gold mounts of violin strings with musical putto, scrolls and flowers, the neck a scent flask with chained stopper formed as a head, the aide-memoire with six ivory tablets, and set with a gold mounted pencil with carnelian seal finial, apparently unmarked, with fitted case
