including: a William Arthur Brailey (1845-1915) pattern ophthalmoscope circa 1890, signed on the case Down Bros, with ebony handle, contained in a fishskin covered, lined case --3¾in. (9.5cm.) long; a Henry R. Swanzy (1844-1913) pattern ophthalmoscope circa 1900, the maker's signature on the inside case Fannin & Co., Dublin, complete, in fishskin covered, lined case --3 1/8in. (8cm.) long; a John Bowring Lawford (1858-1934) pattern ophthalmoscope, signed J. Lizars, Aberdeen, complete, contained in fishskin covered, lined case --3¼in. (8.2cm.) long; a fine, early ophthalmoscope signed J H Steward, 456 West Strand, London, contained in fishskin covered, lined case 4¾in. (12cm.) long; a senior wide angle Morton electric ophthalmoscope made in 1946, signed by Keeler, London, contained in leatherette covered, lined case --10 7/8in. (27.5cm.) long; and two other electric ophthalmoscopes by Keeler and Ellis Optical.
