RARE, ONE OF ONLY 12 CAPS ISSUED TO THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM. Sleep's best Test figures were 5/71 when he bowled Australia to victory against England at Sydney in the Fifth Test of the 1986/87 series. A year later in the Bicentennial Test at the SCG 29 Jan - 2 Feb, Sleep was Australia's second highest scorer in the first innings with 41. Following on, Australia managed to draw the match.
