Lot Essay

The scalloped border of the hexafoiled top of this arbutus Irish Killarney tea table is inlaid with foliated branches, its central pyrographic medallion is wreathed by English roses and Irish shamrocks and displays a romantic view of Muckross Abbey, the hexafoiled plinth, supported by an eagle claw tripod, is inlaid with laurels alternating with the Irish badge of shamrock flowered harps.
