The cornflower-blue field with an overall design of palmettes, serrated leaves, curling "ostrich feathers" and floral tendrils, in an ivory border of palmettes and flowering vine between ivory interlaced arabesque, light blue floral meander and minor spiralling ribbon and reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, plain outer red stripe, a short kilim strip at each end, excellent condition
