Lot Essay

Bonnaffé worked in Le Hâvre as well as in Passy and he exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon between 1848 and 1878. The present work was located at the Mama Leoni's Family restaurant in New York City welcoming guests for as long as the restaurant existed.
