Circa 1875, gilt crowned globe and impressed uppercase marks, shape no. 1348, signed L. Solon
Each finely painted and hand tooled in white slip with a nymph kneeling to either pull putti from a pond or be pulled into a pond by them, the neck and shoulder decorated in the Aesthetic taste in the manner of Christopher Dresser with pale-olive straps of stemmed daisies viewed from the underside and reserved on gold
