A Middle Eastern green glazed pottery ewer
Circa 7th century
with bull's head terminal and incised simulated rope handle, the pear-shaped body with moulded ribbed twin bands to the shoulder and upper neck, glaze irridescence -- 18½in. (47cms) high, (restoration and old wear), fitted box.
