A ZUNI POLYCHROME WOOD KACHINA DOLL
representing Hilili Kohana, or Snake Dance Kachina, carved with split legs slightly bent at the knees and articulated arms bent at the elbows, wearing traditional costume of muslin kilt and sash, white case mask featuring large paper and muslin mouth, painted rectangular eyes with rattlesnakes above and extending around to the back, square tab ears, the left one surmounted by a large tab with a moon face on the front and a sun face on the back, a duck's head and feathers attached to top, further accessorized with boot moccasins, armband, and yucca wrapped around the ankles and right wrist
