the first, a redware melon jar, with twenty-four highly polished ribs contrasting with painted matte surface, signed on the base, Angela Baca; the second, a redware jar, with small flat base and tall sides curving slightly inward to the rim, polished slip with carved geometrical and feather motifs against a painted matte ground, signed on the base, Yolanda Velarde, Santa Clara Pueblo, the third, a blackware jar, with small flat base, flaring sides, and rounded shoulder tapering inward to rim, highly polished surface with finely painted geometrical and feather motifs encircling the neck and shoulder, signed on the base, Yolanda Velarde, Santa Clara Pueblo
