lazy-stitched in numerous shades of opaque and translucent beads on yellow ochre hide, each decorated with a concentric stepped diamond on the vamp, stepped elements at the ankles, a striped band encircling most of the foot, and fringed at the heel, rawhide soles and drawstring ties

Provenance
Collected by Senator Stanley Quay (1833-1904) of Dillsburg, PA, who gave his collection of guns and American Indian objects to a friend. Subsequently, the American Indian objects were given to the present owner's late husband.
