The glazed white enamel dial with Roman chapters, surmounted by a spread-winged eagle finial, above a rectangular panel decorated with dolphis, eagle-crested star-and-stripes and a military trophy, within a rope-twisted frame flanked by pierced scrolling brackets, above a conforming rectangular base with a panel inscribed 'PRESIDENT ENDYMION' and decorated with an American and a British battle-ship engaged in combat, above a tapering fluted apron and oak-cone finial, paper lable to back inscribed '23184' and inside in red paint 'CL4', dial replaced
