Constructed in the late 19th Century, incorporating earlier panels
Feather-banded overall, the rectangular top with a shaped pierced three-quarter gallery, above a superstructure with nine various-sized drawers and two central panelled sliding doors, each enclosing two pigeon-holes, flanked to each side by a conformingly panelled door, englosing two further pigeon-holes, above a panelled sliding writing-surface, above two panelled drawers and doors, each enclosing a plain interior, the sides with carrying-handles, on a shaped plinth
