A large Dutch Delft two-handled tureen and cover
Circa 1750, the tureen and the cover marked LPK for De Lampetkan
Of oval bombé form moulded in relief with panels painted in blue with pagoda-like structures and a garden alternating flower panels flanked by shell and foliage decoration, the border with a band of repeated scroll motifs, with acanthus-leaf handles, on four shell feet moulded in relief with scrolls, the domed cover en suite, naturalistically moulded in relief and painted in blue, green, yellow, and manganese-red with a large corncob finial surrounded by four large leaves
