Circa 1765
Of Whieldon type, each border moulded with basket, herringbone and fretwork sections divided by scrolls below a shaped rim, enriched with brown, green, ochre and blue/grey glazes (one cracked, some scratches and crazing to glaze)
9½in. (24cm.) diam.
a pair of creamware plates with feather-moulded rims sponged in similar glazes -- 9½in. (24.5cm.) diam.; and another pair of similar smaller plates -- 8¼in. (21cm.) diam. (minor chips and scratches) (6)
