Early 19th Century, impressed W to handle terminal
Applied with a vignette with figures of Brittania and Victory holding a shield inscribed HOWE and NELSON, the reverse with a further vignette with a crocodile and pyramid and a fort flanking military devices commemorative of the battles of the Nile and Copenhagen, inscribed PATRIOTS, flanked by anthemion lozenges, within columns and arches, above an arcaded lower section (tiny chip to tip of spout)
