The following eleven lots comprise a Spode pottery blue and white part dinner service printed with patterns from the 'Indian Sporting' Series. These patterns were derived from aquatint engravings by Howitt in Capt. Thomas Williamson's Oriental Field Sports, Wild Sports of the East, published by Edward Orme in 1807. This service uses a variety of different patterns from the Series. The pattern for each is within a line of beading and the borders are printed with animals in their natural settings.

Printed with the 'Hunting a Buffalo' pattern, the branch-moulded handles terminating in leaves and printed with trailing foliage (the stand cracked, some chips and surface scratches)
