A Derby oviform mask jug
Circa 1775
The spout moulded with the mask of a gentleman in a tricorn hat, painted in the manner of Edward Withers with a loose spray of flowers, the reverse with a lesser spray, among scattered sprigs, below a brown-line rim (some restoration and scratches)
