Note:
The inscription on this painting tells that Shitao was travelling with a group of friends from the Wu Zhai studio, together with two of his close friends Huang Yanlu and Tuifu. When they passed by the Red Bridge in a light dirzzle, Yanlu handed him a piece of paper and asked for a painting. This is the result of that excursion.
