A CORINTHIAN POTTERY ARYBALLOS

The body with frieze of animals, comprising a Siren with wings outstretched, flanked by a bull and a panther, rosettes in the field, tongued friezes around the shoulder and everted rim, details incised and in added purple, repaired with restoration; and a Corinthian lekanis, decorated with fine encircling lines and brown glazed interior, with knopped lid and small ring foot, late 6th Century B.C.
