Comprising an unusual Roman red pottery lamp, the domed upper body decorated with three busts of amorini in relief, ring handle above, the base with mark 'CDESSI' (Gaius Dessius), North Italy, circa 200 A.D., 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) long; a Byzantine lamp, the central tondo with a male bust, pierced twice, a stamped floral and spiral design around the rim, repaired, 5½ in. (14 cm.) long; two lamps with pierced central tondo and moulded dots or rays around the shoulder, 3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) long, all 5th-6th Century A.D.; a pottery guttus with tapered side spout and single handle, the central tondo with female head in relief and four pierced holes, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) diam.; and a Samian ware dish fragment, the everted rim with barbotine decoration of ivy leaves, 2nd Century A.D., 4 in. (10.2 cm.) across (6)
