TWO GREEK GOLD EARRINGS WITH LION-HEAD TERMINALS
EARLY 3RD CENTURY B.C.
Each with wire hoop composed of twisted wires hammered into a single wire at the point, one of the lion-heads with fine modelling and chased detail with beaded wire collar and row of darts, the other with similar collar, 1 in. (2.5 cm.) diam. av.; and two similar gold earrings with gazelle-head terminals, 3rd Century B.C., 5/8 in. (1.5 cm.) diam. max. (4)
